Free To Air is About to Change
According to the law, television stations around the country must change their method of sending TV signals known as analog, to digital television (DTV) as of February 17, 2009 (2010 for Australia). Digital Television is a new type of broadcasting technology that transmits movie-quality pictures and sound, a greater number of channels, and even high definition broadcasts (HDTV) to those with HD television sets. The benefits of Digital TV are insane, millions of households who’s TV reception is not great at the moment risk losing television altogether unless they take the easy steps to receive a digital signal, due to the extensive signal strength required to receive a digital frequency.
